Keen-eyed royal enthusiasts have noticed an unexpected addition to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s family in their latest video.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a message on social media over the weekend on Sunday (30 March) in celebration of Mother's Day.
The nearly 40-second clip showcased a series of nature scenes, including blooming flowers, a rainy field, crashing waves, and a ladybird crawling on a blade of grass, before ending with the 'Kensington Royal' logo.

One particular shot of Kate caught the attention of online fans.
It showed the mother of three walking barefoot through a grassy field, wearing long navy-blue shorts, accompanied closely by two companions.
She captioned the post: "Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and acknowledge how our connection with the natural world can nurture our inner selves and remind us of our role within the rich tapestry of life."
Kate signed off the message with her signature 'C'.
The two companions were a pair of four-legged friends - one of which fans recognized as their family dog named Orla, but she was accompanied by a brown Cocker Spaniel, leading many to speculate whether the Wales family had welcomed a new pooch into their home.

"Guys, Orla has a new brother or sister," exclaimed one X user.
Another wrote: "Princess Catherine has a new puppy."
"Does anyone know Princess Catherine’s new dog’s name?" asked another.

The brown spaniel, named Nala, actually belongs to Kate's brother, James Middleton, who breeds Cocker Spaniels. The Wales family adopted Orla from him a few years ago, back in 2020 when she was eight months old.
Prince William recently shared that Orla often sleeps on the bed alongside him and Kate after he reportedly stopped to pet a well-wisher's dog during a visit to Duchy College in Cornwall.
"[William] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate," Louise Harland told Hits Radio Cornwall back in October of last year.

She added: "[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was and mentioned he's never met one of those breeds before; he's a Cockerjack, so he's a bit of a unique mix."
